ABOUT

Roger Bacon is a promotional and music video editor based out of Los Angeles, California. He was one of eight members of the 2012 graduating class of the University of Rhode Island to triple major, a feat accomplished in just four years. Upon graduation he moved to Southern California and was one of 15 students selected for the Editing Emphasis of Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Art MFA Program, which he completed in May 2015.
He is currently serving as an editor for an LA based post production vendor specializing in film and television trailers and promotional content.
His favorite project to date was serving as one of the primary editors for the Decline of Western Civilization box set where he got the opportunity to work on never before seen footage from some of his favorite music artists under the direct supervision of director Penelope Spheeris.
The projects he enjoys most are the types of work that challenge creatively, have something to say, and are uncompromising. His favorite filmmakers are Steve McQueen, Martin Scorsese, Wes Anderson, Jeff Nichols, Gasper Noe, Danny Boyle and David Fincher.
His favorite film is Trainspotting.
